Inspire: Trust Why

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah 55:8 NLT

Are you asking why a lot lately?

Why God is this happening…

Why God am I going through this…

Why God is there suffering…

Why God don’t you fix it

You aren’t alone.

There are many who are, and have, asked the same.

The question is nothing new.

The question isn’t just ours to claim.

There are centuries before us of utterances to the heavens.

The question doesn’t scare God.

The answer remains the same.

It’s not a matter of asking why, it’s a matter of trusting why.

Not one person on this earth can explain the why you are looking for.

But One in heaven can.

Simply put, God’s plans aren’t ours.

It sounds very cliché-ish, but it can’t be any closer to the truth than what it is.

God’s plans are in motion, not mine, not yours. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of that in order to see a big God not a little god.

Asking why is normal, trusting why is exceptional.

In the midst of it all, will you trust?

Thank you Renae for writing about this. I have been really struggling lately on so many things. That it has really scared me. Reading this reminds me that I’m not alone in my thoughts and struggles.

    1. No Lori, you are not alone! Besides your siblings in Christ that are all around you, Christ himself is at work in every detail of your life! His plans are in motion, no matter how much we think only ours are. Trust the Why! I’ll be praying for you. Blessings.
