Inspire: Dressed For Success

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world”  Romans 12:2

Are you ready for the day?

It’s a jungle out there.

Do you know what you’re wearing?

Full armor may be the choice.

Time to get dressed…

…with the belt of truth buckled around your waist,

(Making your yes mean yes, and your no mean no–matching your faith with your labor)

…with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

(A protection around your heart ensuring the very best of character and behavior)

…with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

(To stand firm on God’s great love)

…In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

(With God as your shield nothing can penetrate)

…Take along the helmet of salvation

(The reminder of knowing that you are His and He is yours)

…and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

(Your weapon against temptation and sin, at the ready to strike and win)

(Ephesians 6:13-17)

What better outfit could we wear?

It’s the full ensemble.

From head to toe we’re covered.

Put on the full armor today, my friends.

Be dressed for success!!

That is exactly what our Pastor has been talking about. Love it. I like to visualize having that armor on. What a great dress to impress.
